John does not like deep water, has no idea what a Sea Dog is, and does not live in New England. So naturally, he chose the Portland Sea Dogs as his team name. Someone once bought him a cheap shirt from a Walmart type of store with the team logo on it- and John liked it. It's been a long time since John has actually watched a full baseball game. He played one year in little leagues. His team won the championship. But he did not like the ball hit to him or pitched to him. That combination does not produce a good baseball player. So he played football and basketball instead.
