USA Soccer Official Rulebook
1. Each season begins in January and ends sometime around June.
2. Scheduling is head-to-head.
3. Each week of play, a player is given ten international games to choose from. Each game is assigned a point value of: 2,4,6,8,10. The harder the pick the more points it is worth. Point values are determined by the differences in world rankings and is adjusted for home-field advantage.
4. From those ten games, each player chooses 6 winners. If the team wins, he/she recieves that number of points assigned. If the team ties, the player recieves half the points. If the team loses, no points are given. All the points are added and compared to each player's opponent.
5. If two players tie, it remains as such. There are no tie-breakers. Just like FIFA rules, a league win is worth 3 points and a league tie is worth 1 point in the standings. In the playoffs, the home team owns the tie-breaker.
6. Tie-breaker rules within standings: a) Head-to-Head b) Total Points Scored in Season c) Team not last to lose ("hotter team")
