League Play Rules
1. Each player will choose a car and sponsor. This sponsor will become part of that player's team name.

2. We will not be playing every week that NASCAR has a race, generally half of their schedule will be utilized.

3. Each player is responsible for submitting picks via the picksheet prior to the deadline time-which is always before qualifying.

4. On the picksheet, there will 10 matchups between NASCAR drivers that are in the Top 25. (Those matchups are generated prior to the season, and are slightly modified-when needed) Each player has to pick the winners for each of those matchups. (The winner is consider the driver who finished ahead of his opponent in the race.) After picking 10 drivers, the player must assign wager dollars to each racer from $1 to $5.

5. If a player wins a matchup, then he/she earns the dollars wagered. If a player loses a matchup, then he/she loses the dollars wagered. Winners of NASCAR matchups are solely based on their final finish in that particular race.

6. When picking, we are picking the car. So if a driver, is replaced by somebody else- your pick will still be that car, not the individual driver.

7. After dollars earned or lost are tabulated, each player is placed in order of their performance for that particular race. Then each player is allocated points based on this finishing. Points allocated are based on the same point system NASCAR uses.

8. If two teams end in a tie, then the following criteria will be used to break the tie: a) number of correct picks that week b) winning percentage of $5 picks c) winning percentage of $4 picks d) winning percentage of $3 picks e) winning percentage of $2 picks f) winning percentage of $1 picks g) team that leads overall standings h) team that led overall standings the prior year i) coin flip

9. Overall standings, for the season, are based on these points allocated-not dollars earned or lost.

Chase Rules
1. Like NASCAR, we will utilize a Chase Playoff system. The timing of Victory Lane's Chase Season will coincide with NASCAR's. The only difference is that we will only use the first 5 chase races-not 10.

2. Overall standings will be adjusted prior to the Chase in the same fashion as NASCAR uses.
